Data Analyst
The future of data? It’s Super Proper.
The best creative is only as strong as the insight behind it. At Super Proper, we’re raising the bar on how modern agencies use data to think smarter, move faster, and drive results. We’re hiring a tech-obsessed, insight-hungry Data Analyst to embed across our teams and elevate the impact of our work. From dashboards to deep dives, campaign health to audience behaviour, your role is to make data meaningful — and make sure it shows up in every brief, brainstorm, and build.
This is a cross-client role that lives at the intersection of media, social, and strategy. You’re as comfortable cleaning data as you are interpreting it. You speak human as well as technical. You embrace non-traditional ways of working and are fluent in leveraging AI tools to support your work. You bring both rigour and agility — and you’re always looking for what’s next.
What you’ll do
Make Performance Clear
- Build dashboards and reports that surface what’s working and what’s not
- Translate results from paid media, social, research tools and web into actionable insights
- QA and troubleshoot live data across platforms
Turn Data into Direction
- Support media, social, and strategy teams with sharp research and performance data analysis that fuels stronger creative and smarter decision-making
- Help define and refine measurement frameworks to track and report on success of activities
- Contribute to planning by distilling insights from research, first-party data, and desk research
Stay One Step Ahead
- Spot patterns and proactively share opportunities with internal teams
- Stay fluent in platform changes, tools, and tech that help us move smarter
- Leverage AI and automation to streamline processes and uncover new insights
Collaborate and Communicate
- Present compelling stories from data with clear and simple written and verbal communication skills that foster understanding
- Work closely with media, social, strategists, and account leads across clients
What you bring
- 3–5 years of experience in a data analysis, preferably within an agency or digital marketing environment
- An understanding that in a world of algorithms a data-informed feedback loop makes creative sharper. A knack for making complex information simple, visual and actionable. Experience analyzing social-first content for performance drivers.
- Strong working knowledge of platforms and metrics:
- SEM - GA4, Search Console, Trends
- Social - Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit, Social Listening
- Statistics and MMM – ComScore, Numeris, Vividata, Kantar, etc.
- Fluency and strong experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Ninjacat)
- Experience connecting APIs and building automated reports — bonus if you know your way around SQL
- Curiosity, flexibility, and a love of experimentation
- Self-starter mentality and zero ego: you’re proactively chasing the next brief, jump into projects to improve the output, and you understand our route to fame is through the team.
